Timeline of events

This is a timeline of events I have drawn to give a brief idea of what should be accomplished during specific time periods and allow myself to meet deadlines and stay organised in a timely manner.

Deconstruction of the Coursework Brief (Magazine Section)

In order to broaden my understanding of what is required of me, I have deconstructed the brief that was given to me into a few bullet points that summarise the requirements and limitations that I must keep in mind whilst I complete this coursework: Keep a Bauer Media Ltd brand image and house style. Manipulate genre conventions to create highly engaging covers/contents pages. Use media language and terminology (intertextuality, hybridity, etc..). Represent two different social groups across covers that are appropriate to the magazine by featuring a minimun of 2 models. Use a minimun of 4 different original images across all covers/contents pages. Take into account the 4 areas of Media studies: Media language, Representations, Audiences and Institutions. I am most looking forward to challenging myself to represent 2 different social groups across my covers, they will be appropriate to my audience who I believe is older teenage youth and young adults. Introductory blog post

Introductory blog post Hi, my name is Yanis Lahlou, I’m creating this blog to present my fashion magazine for my Media Studies Coursework. I chose to do a magazine as it was the brief that looked the most appealing to me and I would like to learn magazine creation related skills such as using Photoshop and taking my own pictures. I’m also looking forward to learn more about fashion and the magazine world.
